Steve Northeast

Its been a long time since I posted anything, sorry about that. Here is one of Steve Northeast and his band in a slightly cramped practice studio. Lit with an off camera flash bounced off the ceiling.

Another one from the park. The Colours are actually more vibrant but for some reason when up upload them here they all become a little 'duller'.

Prospect Park V4 shoot

Here are some results... Taken using my Cactus V4's, an old Cobra D425 flash (stoop sale purchase) and my Canon 350d. Taken at f9 to let enough light in from the flash then a 6 second handheld exposure to 'play' with the lights in the background.

This one was shot at f7.1 and a 10 second exposure. The Cactus would not fire at this long range so I had Amanda fire the Cactus manually during the exposure. A little P.S. in this one to clone out the flash which was set on the grass by her feet.

Very pleased how these came out.

Cactus V4's

I bought myself a set of these bad boys. They are the latest release of Cacuts' wireless flash triggers V4. At $40 you really cant complain and from my little test run they worked every time, a vast improvement on the V2's. I'm excited to see what pictures i can create using these. Now all I need to do is save up for a decent flash.
